File Remover Help (Files)
This page describes how to use the File Remover program. The main user interface explanation can be found on the software page.
Controls
Add. Add a file specification to the list. The Add File Dialog is displayed.
File. Specify the file to add. Use the Browse button to display a file selection dialog.
OK. Accept the specified file.
Cancel. Do not accept the specified file.
Edit. Edit the first selected entry in the list. The Add File Dialog is displayed with the selected contents in the edit field.
File. Specify the file to add. Use the Browse button to display a file selection dialog.
OK. Accept the specified file.
Cancel. Do not accept the specified file.
Remove. Remove all selected file specifications from the list.
Remove All. Remove all file specifications from the list.
File Scan. Display the file scan dialog to allow a directory to be display, and all the files in the directory to be accepted. The file scan dialog is displayed.
Directory. Specify the directory to scan. Use the Browse button to display a directory selection dialog.
Include subdirectories. Select this check box to scan all subdirectories.
File extensions. Specify the file extensions, separated by semi-colons. If you want all files, do not specify any file extensions.
Scan. Scan the directory for the files matching the file extension filter. Any matching files are displayed in the list.
OK. Dismiss the dialog, accepting all files in the list.
Cancel. Dismiss the dialog without accepting any of the files.
OK. Dismiss the dialog and accept all of the changes made with the dialog.
Cancel. Dismiss the dialog and do not accept any of the changes made with the dialog.
